What about the Cayenne, which is based on the Touareg? Or the Macan, which is based on the Audi Q5? There is a huge amount of component sharing between these models.
Also, most of the Teslas you've seen drag racing on the Internet are the AWD models, since there is a separate motor driving the front wheels. Quote:

A Tesla with Front, Rear, or All wheel drive is still going to outrace most internal combustion engines. The Tesla has one gear. Internal combustion? 6 to 8 with each shift losing time. You'd have to go to extraordinary lengths to get the same performance and even then, not sure it could ever be done with a gasoline based car. |

Now that the cnd pricing is out for the 430/440, hope to see the price drop on the 435.
Went to test drive the 2016 S3 and now I'm tempted to jump ship for the 2017 S3 which should be out by September. There's currently some good incentives for the 2016 3 and 4 series. Is Invoice pricing too much to ask for since the 2017 will be out really soon. Wait for 2017 with all the updated features but then pay full price on the new release. Tough decisions. Just got a call my a sales rep and he offered me the following. I'd like to know if it's a good deal or not. I have 7 payments left on my current lease at $596/month and he's waiving that with the early exit program.
He offering me demo alpine white 2016 435xi coupe with premium essential package, winter mats and winter tires. Currently has 5400KM and the car was put on the road last October. 48mth lease with 20K 0 down: $850/month. Let me know if it's good deal or not. My current lease is due in 7-8 months and it's a 2013 328xi with premium and lighting package. Have 64K and allowed to 80k. |

$850 was all in. Not sure if I should wait till Nov-dec for year end liquidation of there are any left.
I'll counter offer under $800 and see what's the lowest they can go. I would go with a 428 if they had the m bumpers but it doesn't. |

The only way to know if it's a good deal is to see what discount they are giving you off MSRP on the demo, and where they are getting the 7*$596. The "early exit" is almost certainly the sales guy just reducing the level of discount you could otherwise negotiate on the demo car (i.e. you're still paying 100% of those payments).
On a car that's been sitting around since October, and has been replaced by the 440i, they will really want to move it. You should be able to get it well below the dealer's cost for the vehicle when it was new, and get them to eat the freight / PDI. That's why sales guys love to talk in monthly payments, since it hides the truth of what deal you're actually getting. Quote:

aspiring335 is definitely giving you good advice. Always see what the MSRP is. That is the number that counts the most. Divide discount by original MSRP and you'll get a number like 0.9something. For example, 50k car reduced to 48k is 48000/50000 = .96 or a 4% discount. One way to see what they will tolerate is to take their monthly number and slice a big chunk off it. For example, they say 800 and you say "How about 700 with same DoD and no down" and see what they respond with. Every grand they cut from the car is about $20 a month on the lease. Good luck. my dealer was straight up with me: this is how much you still owe, this is how much i can give you in discount, hence your current discount cannot exceed this much. simple math. i still got a better deal than 4 years ago and my monthly payments are less now, on an improved car.
