Please Help w/ determining what brakes I need to order

Hello all,

I need help with determining what specific brake rotors and pads I need to order (front and rear) for my vehicle. Several different sites are asking whether I have 1 or 4 piston calipers and what diameter my rotors (front and rear) are. My vehicle is as follows:

2015 428i xDrive 2 door coupe w/ M-sport line package.

I uploaded what my front and rear calipers look like.

I am an American military member living in Germany and I don't speak their language so any help you can provide to order the right parts the first time is greatly appreciated.

Those are the Base model specs for rotors. I think he said he has the M-sportline package. Don't they have larger rotors? Then again, the M-Sport calipers are supposed to be blue, I think. These might actually be base model brakes.

OP: If you want to be sure, contact Robert Cruz at UROTuning.com (or anyone else there). They will run your VIN and tell you exactly what you need.

According to the photo OP provided. Front is not 340 gray bremb

Other front slidoing caliper accept the 330x24 rotor but the rear should be same 300x20

Thanks all... I'm going to order the 340x30 for front and 300x20 for rear. Hopefully that is what my vehicle utilizes. Also my vehicle only has 31k miles on it. Is it normal for BMW brakes to wear that fast? I don't drive it hard, except when I get her on the German autobahn, then I really have fun with it.

you have a gray brembo 4 piston on the front ? I'm guessing here cause u just said you ordered 340x30 for the front then you should have 330x24 on the rear

(On the side note: damn you BMW for the confusing brakes.)

Looks like you have base brakes. They look just like mine. Order what Gen13 told you. You have the m sport appearance package which does not include the brake upgrade.

These are my fronts from awhile ago when I was playing with paint. I just replaced all front brakes last week but didn’t take a picture.

I did the rear at 48k miles and the fronts went to 65k miles.

Yes ours do look the same, and yes my vehicle does NOT have the M-sport ungraded brakes. So I should order 330x24 for front and 300x20 or 330x24 for the rear? What about the brake pads?

Thanks for trying to help a brother out! I agree, why did they have to make so many different options in sizes for brakes on this vehicle! So I am a little confused now...What should I order?

Front 330x24
Rear 300x20 or 330x24

That's what I ordered for mine.

You should be able to measure the rotors to be sure before you order.

Front 330x24
Rear 300x20 or 330x24
This

Front 312x24 or 330x24
Rear 300x20

There no way I can be sure about the front. You have to remove the wheel and measure the rotors.

XDrive m sport US have 312/300
While in the motherland why not get some 340i calipers and step up to 340/330 at least.

Don't forgot one important detail about using that 340i setup on the base brakes.... the rear 330mm rotor has a bigger Ebrake diameter that the 300mm, so your ebrake won't work anymore.

Only m-performance 2 piston with 245mm rotor will work because 245 mm ebrake diameter comes in 2 sizes. You just have to buy the right rotor.

Incorrect. XDrive have the big ebrake so it’s a direct swap. Only 2wd (And I think only pre LCI but I didn’t delve that deep since I don’t have one) have the small ebrake.
And you mean 345mm not 245.
