New to the BMW family. Bad MPG BMW 420i f33
Hi everyone, I just bought myself a 2015 BMW 420i Convertible M Sport (Auto) for the summer. Its been with me for two weeks of ownership however, I've just been getting no more than 16.4mpg around town driving, this has been in comfort and eco pro mode. Does this MPG sound about right for this car? I understand this car isn't the lightest Bmw out there, so what is everyone else getting? If it isn't right, what could it possibly be? Thanks in advance

That sounds low. My 430 got better. And it was running bm3 stage 1-93.

You’ll soon discover the number is dramatically impacted by the angle of that long pedal under your right foot!

You can also calculate it manually next time you fill up the tank.

That's really bad mpg. I get 23mpg out of my 328i with about 80/20 city/highway driving.

Something's not right there...I get more than that out of my Z4M around town.
Is this what is showing on the OBC, or from a tank-to-tank measurement, as the OBC can be wildly inaccurate. |

How are you measuring that? Actual mileage vs gasoline pumped in, dash display, etc?
When we took delivery of our 2008, and it was "brutal" for mileage on the dash display until I reset both keys (IE 10MPG around town). It's like it the ECM logged a ton of fuel consumption with no mileage. |
