My new 340i!

Hello all. Just wanted to drop you line ive been reading these forums everyday for a couple months while ive been searching for my new bimmer. Finally found a keeper today and made a deal! Its used but its a beauty. 2016 340i xdrive msport with mperf breaks and only 19,000km on the odo. Think the exhaust is mperf too cause it sounded pretty chosty even when reving in neutral. Dont pick it up till friday so ill be losing sleep for a couple days.
Anyway, thanks for all the info on here really helped with the buying process.

Nice find! I've been searching for a used F30 for weeks and would love xdrive, but none of the xdrives I have found have upgraded suspension and brakes. I've decided to go with RWD and just trust Blizzaks to keep me moving in the winter. Someday maybe I'll find an xdrive with Track Handling Package :-)

Nice car. For the life of me,I don’t understand the obsession with front license plates. Especially in states where it’s required.

They're not required here, but I've seen a few cars in other states where the plate it attached to a holder that screws into the front tow hook socket, and it looks better I think.

Front plates look like an afterthought on most cars and BMW is no exception.

Attaching to the tow hook would look more like an afterthought.

Did that on my prelude back in the day thought it looked way better but after getting a couple tickets and also having to go to the police station to show them I put it back on I thought it was too much trouble. They definitely designed the fronts to go with the euro license plates. Putting the plate off to the side on the tow hook is an idea that I will look into.

Tow hook mount is one option, and another that I opted for was the STO N SHO front plate bracket. Mounts underneath your front bumper and can be removed or mounted whenever you want without any visible holes (can drill or use an adhesive). I bought it in case I ever got a warning or ticket, but haven't had any issues with mine off for a year and a half. LA cops have more important things to worry about.
