ER Charge pipe RWD Auto fits Manual?

Hi,

Kind of an odd situation, but I want to buy a N55 2012- RWD AUTO Evolution Racewerks charge pipe used and wondering if it would work on my

2014 335i N55 RWD Manual transmission?

The ER site asks the buyer to enter the drivetrain and transmission when purchasing

Thanks in advance!

it has a port for a vacuum.connection that you don't have. I believe you can plug it but you gotta make sure that it doesn't leak.

I believe this is the only auto vs manual difference as well but you should just contact ER to confirm.

Still waiting on reply from ER. On the product desc. it seems like the vacuum fitting is the one I circled.
If this is the only item thing different between the two what would you guys recommend to cap it off?
Silicone rubber endcap with a hose clamp?

Yes exactly that will do fine make sure it's tight so no leaks.

Unfortunately the ER charge pipe had been sold.

Do you guys know if it's the same situation with the VRSF branded charge pipe (vacuum fitting for auto)?
Is there any difference between Xdrive and RWD?

Auto and manual are the same pipe, you just plug the auto fitting on manual.

IIRC xdrive and RWD are physically different.

note, most companies don't check if a customer's car is auto or manual. They offer the same pipe with a bung for the vacuum line.

ER make 2 different pipes. You can always get the one with the vacuum line fitting and close it if not needed.
