Thanks! If you're going from stock to stage 2 it's going to be a pretty huge jump up for you

Well I'll be going from a 4 cylinder non turbo... just had a waste gate failure... so rolling with a naturally aspirated 4... its a pretty boring right now.. waiting to get it in the BMW service center to fix the issue.

Completed a stage 2 BM3 on my Silver F31 Sport DHP Wagon. I used ER High Flow Cat and 6.5'' FMIC.
I chose to stay at the 91 Octane due to lack of availability of the 93. The car is noticeably quicker from stock in both comfort and sport plus. I haven't done any objective testing as my BMW Apps is down and I can't access the Laptimer App. However, I've noticed my HP going to over 300 on the Sport Display when flooring it. It's super fun to see cars disappear behind me. I feel the upgrade significantly changes the car. The comfort mode in an untuned car felt a bit more balanced and had a cleaner throttle feel, however after tuning the car, it is just more fun to drive given the torque boost. I might even have to finally change my brakes. I do wish there was an adapter of sort to check the boost levels in real time without having to connect your laptop. All in all, fun upgrade. Hey guys
I got a 435i with fbo except intercooler and just swapped my Bosch plugs for the ngk97506 gapped to .22" and I had the car on stage 1 and I could tell the difference in throttle response and I could tell the car was quicker from the very first pull. But when I went to stage 2 it felt kind of slower imo. It felt like the turbo was lagging more n the throttle response just felt slower. I had my sport displays on and stage 2 read a little higher than stage 1 but just didn't feel like it. curious if anyone had the same problem or had any tips on this. |

You need the intercooler for stage two otherwise you get heat soak right away. Your profile states 435i and the n55 is known for heat issues. Upgrade your intercooler and you are golden for stage two. Just an FYI. 6.5 como VRSF, ER, ATM, Wagner Comp 2 are some of the options you have. I'm not sure how the 6.5" Amazon special works on the heat generation of your motor.

Never tried it on an N55, but it was great on my N20. No issues at all, cheap and simple. Great bang for your buck.
