Anyone pass state inspection with BM3 and no cat?

We simply do this on F series for modded cars to pass inspection but car has to be healthy of course, but why having to remove your mods to simply pass inspection is a pain and why we do it.

Hey quick question how did you ever get it to pass emissions with the ready state I’m in ny and I need to get this inspection done asap I’m fbo as well

I'd suggest a fabspeed cat going forward. It's worth the money because it passes inspection.

I forget where I read it but even passes with tune still installed without flashing MHD to map Zero... We'll find out shortly for I need to get this done also...

Yeah it's a HJS racing cat. They're made to to take a lot of power.

NY is a state where you can have 1 monitor in "Not Ready" with no CEL and pass. So a tune like BM3 or MHD and no other issues with the car should be fine. Note thay "Not Ready" is not the same as "Failed".

Also As long as they don't do a visual

Same here in NH. OBD2 plugin allows 1 monitor unready to pass, so having the cat monitor unready at time of plugin is fine if all others are set
