I like that it won't take much at all to get the N55 to ~400whp. Much easier than it would the RS. |

Three years ago I took my new 340i to Lower Grand to take some photos. Three years later I took my new M3 CS to the same spot:

Just finding this thread now...
Cool that you had a 25Quattro prior to the bimmers! Never owned one, but have always been a huge fan of the S4, B5 through current. You've got great taste! I'm hoping to move into a 340i soon-ish, and probably an F80 after that. Following in your footsteps lol

I've had an absolutely fantastic experience with my M3 and M3 CS since my 340i 6 years ago. Time has come to move on, and although the G82 is controversial in it's design, I got an allocation and placed my order early last month. It quickly made it through production and shipping and I will hopefully take delivery of my custom M4 Competition X-Drive in the next week!

OP, now that you've owned a variety of these cars. How would you review your thp 340i? Ive got the same spec, and have done some suspension mods, and am enjoying the car so far. That being said, I'm used to porsches, so while its a great car - its not amazing. 340i is my daily. How does the m3 cs compare to the 340i. And would you in anyway compare the cs to any p cars?
Thx |

My eye was on a 981 GT4 before getting the G82, but with the car market inflated the way it is, I'm gambling that prices will drop in the next year or two, then maybe I can get a GT4 for $75k instead of $95-$100k they are going for now. I'm not too sure if that will happen, but I got a good deal on the G82 and I wanted to try an AWD M car. So I jumped.

You know, I'm still not a massive fan of the new design, but damn that M4 Comp looks really good and that interior!!
Only one question - when are you lowering?

As for lowering, I've already ordered a KW HAS kit, camber plates, and Race Pads. KW HAS is here, but I'm waiting on the rest to do the install in one shot. Then it should be looking proper and be ready for track days!
