I want to install a cold air intake into my 118i 2012 however the prices for kits are ridiculous. I am considering buying a kit for a different model BMW with a similar engine bay layout to my N13. This is what I'm referring too: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/19635309...3ABFBMtNzV0bpl
This link is a link to a much cheaper intake kit for a 320i, the problem is that the IAT sensor is too far away from where it connects too and that the piping doesn't match up to my turbo inlet pipe. What is recommended should I attempt to fabricate my own custom pipes out of the pipes attatched, (I have welding experience) or should I spend double the price on a kit specific or my car such as the MST Performance N13 Cold Air Intake Kit for F2x F3x 116i 118i 120i 316i 318i 320i. ![]() ![]() |
