^ Thanks. Depending on how much they will work with me on price, I will have a mechanic go inspect the car. I am 300 miles away from this location so I would want everything checked out before I went and finalized the deal.
What I find strange is it says it was a lease...so I would assume changing the suspension/wheels etc would be against the leasing agreement. Also the front reflectors are painted white, more clue that this car was "modified" at least to some extent. |

don't do what I did man. hold out until you find the perfect car. even if it takes months. you will shoot yourself in the foot wishing you got all the packages options you want. after going from non-sport to M sport, it is night and day. and I will never go non M sport again. its the way BMW's should come made out of the factory. PLus retrofitting all the parts will cost you more than what it's worth if you just got the package, and it won't feel the same as OEM. trust me on this.

Wait for the M-Sport! Too hard to upgrade, you could use the $$$ to to get the M-Sport in the first place!?

Thanks for the responses. I am dead set on waiting for the M-Sport at this point. And I am looking into shipping options if it comes down to that.
I found an option in California but the trek is 2,000+ miles which makes the shipping ~$1200. So the price would have to be really good for me to consider. |

I was in a similar position as you not long ago - I live in SE Florida and was looking for a 435 M-Sport. Most of the cars of interest to me were in Texas or California...very little in my desired color & options combo anywhere around here.
I ended up finding a car in Atlanta - flew up to check it out, bought it, then drove back to get it a few days later. If traveling - instead of shipping a car - appeals to you, you can go this route for quite a bit less than shipping. Just a thought; good luck! |

Didn't read all of the posts so excuse me if I sound redundant
Once you go 3 liter inline 6, you'll never want to go back. Unless you care about fuel efficiency, I recommend getting the 435i over the 428i any day as that engine has so much potential for tuning. Be patient and see if you can get the car you want with the M sport package, would be worth it than buying aftermarket and swapping it yourself in the long run. |
