Hello every body,
Happy Eid

I have a BMW 328i Luxury with comfort access the trunk was working very will and once i was going to Mall and they check the Trunk i open the lock and they open from outside normal then when i finished and try to open it even physically or with the comfort access but i can it only open with the remote .
Any one know this issue ?

I have same as you comfort access. There are three ways to open the trunk.
1- with all car doors unlocked you open by the button in the trunk Handel above the number plate , you need to press it in hard
2- you kick your foot under the car in the middle and then out, try to have your foot close to the bumper
3- remote key button to open the trunk

In 2 and three the car doors can be Locked or unlocked and in the comfort access your key remote must be in your pocket or hand

Now since it's working with remote then it looks like there is nothing wrong with your locking and unlocking mechanism.

My only guess if it's not working using the Handel or comfort access assuming you are doing it correctly is that they use a different signal than the remote to open the trunck lock

Your only option is to take it to Bavaria unfortunately

i think the problem on the physical key.... I send the car today to BMW and they told me it may be the trunk physical key also they have some changed must be done for this model as requirement from Germany and must leave the car till tomorrow...

Hey everyone

So today i had the first problem with my car :/

I got error about the tyre pressure in ALL tyres suddenly and its not the first time, it happened to me 2 days ago and i int. the pressure

Thing is, today also i had error on the Rear-right Tyre and i checked and it was normal

i also noticed a nail in the Left-Front tyre is this the reason? or is it the sensors?

Hello Omer,
I got the same but i go to check and found two tires without any air after i supply it with air and int. it work will without any issue.

Hi Omar
You can try and fix it at fit and fix.

As long as the nail is not near the side wall , it can be fixed.

The reason is that you do not want a weak side wall in a run flat tire.

They change the key and they change some thing on the machine and move two plastic plug from the front of the car and make software update.

It must have been a major bug. I wonder if I should talk to them about it in my next service, I have the comfort access but it has no problems yet

My problem was not with the comfort access it was the trunk key and they change it ...for the others when i go they told me it is necessary and you should do it so i do it

Hi Omar
Nobody will bug you about rims or tires or a spoiler

For other changes I would change stuff which can be removed before going to maintainace easily as they are not to friendly

Anyways, I have some exciting news to all those who are interested, Finally & Proudly i was able to retrofit the NBT to my Car. SO now I believe I might be the first & only 316i with NBT

The Unit is fully functional El 7amdoulelah with the following features:

Voice Control
Touch Controller
Enhanced Bluetooth
BMW Connected Apps
BMW Live
BMW Internet

Where do you live? How did you get the parts? And how much did it cost you?
How about the warranty?
I have a 316i too that i bought this April but i am in dubai and i wanna do it but i guess it will void the warranty.
