BMW TPMS sensor leaking air

Hey guys anyone had problems with a new tpms sensor leaking air? Recently got new alloys and fitted brand new genuine sensors, noticed when fitting the seal on the stem was pretty small but thought it shouldn't be a problem but now the 2 rear tyres are leaking air out ? I'm guessing nee stems but are bmw alloys shaped different to seal up with the sensor?

I just had the tire shop warn me about this. They cautioned that the official TPMS specs for your car is only designed to work with the OEM wheels. Once you get a different set of wheels, you need to match the TPMS sensors to the new design.

And your picture is missing the barrel part that goes over the screw isn't it?

Yeah that makes sense, and what bolt? Sensor came how it did in picture, ordered some nee valve stems that look like they'll fit a lot better

Sorry, I said bolt when I meant nut. The nut that goes over the threading in your photo. I suppose maybe you could use the old one?
