Car feeling slow

340i stage 2 bm3. Car feels very sluggish. RPM’s rise but car is barely accelerating. It feels like when a manual transmission has clutch slip but the car is an 8 speed. Changes up and down unexpectedly. No codes.

Without a log it will be difficult for anybody to help you.

You can also check the sports displays, they are not very accurate IMO but could be useful in your case to see if you are getting Torque an HP numbers close to your tune.

Waiting to hear their thoughts, as seems like a bug to me within this version of istep which is backed up to a degree with a BMW stop order and tech report I found online that mandated a software update. My car is 2016 and istep from 2018.
Seems odd/coincidence you had the same though...
Deffo do some logging, IMS-340MP has kindly reviewed mine too.
I hope your car is ok and not like mine. My transmission died! A clutch pack is completely shot and the valve body has some issues.
