People are looking for a log that shows a hard pull in 3rd gear or 3rd & 4th. That is most common when logging and testing performance. Here is a log to compare to mbanks log that was stock intercooler but I have an ER comp intercooler. You will see my IAT's actually drop. We live right near each other and are very comparable logs and mods minus intercooler. We have 90-95 temps this week.

People want to see a log similar to these so we have a good comparison. I have a different style intercooler all together so Im happy with mine just try to help.

You just keep twisting the situation to your narrative that ebay parts are no good. We are just trying to show the community it's a valid option.
even with the pull you did, your numbers are terrible
IAT went up 10 degrees in 1500 rpm (and thats only in the low RPM)

I did not know im supposed to teach you how to do a proper pull but since you obviously do not know let me explain it to you

IAT reading basics
  1. You need to start at a low RPM and long enough gear so there is enough time for temp to rise
  2. You need to log until redline
  3. It is preferrable to keep logging the next gear as well

This thread has become a Soap Opera. Mine is coming in tomorrow. I'll get some proper logs up for everyone who's been waiting.

EDIT: Rain expected until Wednesday, so logs will have to wait.

My view on the topic is that RPM is less relevant than boost over time. Looking at all the data graphs the IATS logs has a bit of lag in time vs the pull. So I did a pull over 8 seconds at full boost (for my car with the PS2 turbo) to give it time to reach temps.

Obviously there are people that disagree, I am happy with the results and I know they are consistent with my experiences. If you choose to not accept the results as valid fine, but I don't feel like I am misleading anyone.

So far the weak point in my car is the fuel system, I can do a pull higher than 4000 rpm in top gear but the fuel system runs out dry as the pull is so long..

That said I am done discussing this one point in the thread. mbanks21 sorry for being short with you.

That's weird cause I use datazap and has rpm on the left side up to 7500. Maybe it's a setting.
rpm is there. I couldn't get the time index to show

Did you have to bend the hell out of the bumper flap or even removed it to install the fmic comfortably? I could not get the fmic in w/o dropping the bumper.

Lol had to bend the hell out of it. Spent a good 20 minutes trying to find how/if it pulled out with no luck

Sorry guys having some boost issues (not related to the intercooler). Think my chargepipe or intake is loose and haven't have time today to fudge around with it.

Install was smooth though, no issues.

Double check to make sure the c-clips are locked in at the intercooler connections.

I was having issues before today. I'm fairly certain it's the injen intake cause that's the last mod I did it that was about a week and a half ago
