This track is suPERB!
Btw sorry to hear about your father, my deepest condonscences. I can't imagine... I tried 'Its Complicated Being a Wizard' and couldn't get into it until the 14 min mark. PTM seems to really be all about the art, the song I posted is probably more mainstream than you're into but it's decent. I thought they were new to the scene so one can definitely hear their transition from underground to mainstream comparing ICBAW to their current offerings.

Every time I hear this song, it reminds me of the movie kick ass, and the scene where kick ass is hanging out with Red Mist.

I appreciate your words but it's just life, and death, in whatever form it comes in, is something that we all have to endure. The back story was just a relation to the song being posted and the lyrics. I appreciate the work of the song but still brings a tear to my eye to hear it as it instantly transports me back to that day but I'm somehow emotionally removed from it now. Strange how the human mind works. As for the band, their early work is very strange. A handful of their songs really stuck with me and I instantly downloaded and listened to their entire catalog. In the Mountain in the Cloud is what got me into their music although I don't care for a lot of indy music. Their progression as a band is what most would refer to selling out, but whatever, good music is good music. |

One of Aretha Franklin's more recent "urban" hits with Lauren Hill and one that resonates with me. She knew how to touch the soul...
A rose is still a rose Baby girl, you're still a flower He can leave you and then take you Make you and then break you Darlin' you hold the power...

RIP to the Queen of Soul. This song was during her resurgence and proved that she was indeed a gear head and absolutely did NOT like or use airplanes.
"City traffics moving way too slow Drop the pedal and go..."
