"Passenger restraint malfunction" Fault
Hi Everyone,
I intentionally disconnected my passenger seat wiring loom when I was trying to find the source of a rattling noise which I managed to isolate to the subwoofer. As soon as I disconnected the seat's wiring loom an error on the dash "Passenger restraint system malfunction" came up on the dash. However, it hasn't disappeared after reconnection of the wiring loom. Is it likely I've damaged a sensor somewhere, or do these errors required resetting by the dealership once they are triggered? Thanks for your help!

It needs a reset, as it involves the airbag sensors. This is why there's a warning that if you unbolt the seats to work on the woofers do not unplug the wiring unless you first disconnect the battery.

Billfitz, thanks for your reply!
Didn't know about that, but at least it should be a straight forward fix. I couldn't figure out, whether I had damaged the wiring loom or something, but I can live with a quick trip to the local dealer for a 'reset'.
