F32 front splitter question

Correct me if I'm wrong but I understand that this is the "OEM" front splitter for M-sport bumpers:

Can anyone tell me about this splitter? I like the way it hugs the center opening with a smaller gap, and how it doesn't go into the side air ducts.

I'm looking for carbon fiber variants and there are tons of the OEM splitter available from ebay or aliexpress for about $150 shipped, but the other splitter I can only find unpainted for ~$150 or the CF version for $300-400+ shipped. I'd rather not spend that much when I know it'll probably get scratched and beaten up.

This the one I'm running on my F32. It's about a hundred bucks on eBay.

There are lots of bad driveways in my area, so it's always getting chewed up. It would really hurt if I destroyed a $500 carbon fiber piece, but I replace it the cheap lip about once a year. In between, I touch up chips with JB Weld putty and a little bit of paint.

The "matte black" finish is bare polyurethane that fades quickly. It needs to be painted before installation.
