FS: Grey Base M-Sport Brake Kit - Low Miles

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
USD 800.00

Item Interest
Selling a Grey M-Sport Base Brake Kit from my 2019 440i M-Sport Xdrive. Brakes have less than 9000 miles on them. Asking $800. (we can discuss payment options if you want them) shipping not included. These are about as new as your gonna see I would think.

Kit includes:
Front and rear calipers (with sensors, pads, and bolts)
Front and rear rotors
Front and rear backing plates

I will not break up the set. Looking to sell these in the tri-state area first to save on shipping for whoever wants to buy them...

If i absolutely have to ship it's 131 lbs worth of stuff. I can ship them UPS. Ill probably use 2-3 boxes to make it more manageable.
My zip is 18071. Here is the UPS shipping estimate link: https://www.theupsstore.com/tools/es...-shipping-cost

All pics are of the original brake pads. As you can see there is plenty of life left in them.

Selling cause i upgraded to the M-Performance Brake kit and obviously dont need these anymore. It's up to you to know your vehicle and if these will fit.

One more thing, i am in a wheechair so it's hard for me to lift things plus the UPS store is 40min away so I will only be able to ship these on on Saturdays.

Feel free to PM me, Thanks!

FYI- I believe the brakes you have in photos are the standard brakes for your car which are grey. The M Sport calipers would be blue. You can tell if they are standard if the front rotors are 340mm x 30mm. Also the back of the caliper will have "340" in raised lettering. The caliper is still a 4-piston Brembo that is almost identical to the front blue M-Sport calipers and front red/orange/yellow M Performance calipers. Standard, MS and MP all take the same size front pads.

The rears are probably 1-piston calipers made by Bosch and others over 330mm x 20mm rotors.

These brakes would make a nice easy bolt-on upgrade for say a 328i with smaller standard brakes than these 340/330 rotors. They fit fine under 17" road wheels, but MS and MP brakes require minimum 18" road wheels.

The 330mm rear rotors will not work with a 328i because the 330mm rotor hub is too large. The 328i ebrake is not compatible with the larger rotor. It'll bolt up just fine, but render your ebrake completely unusable. The ebrake pads will not contact the inside of the rotor because the inner diameter of the ebrake surface is not compatible. I have a post under my handle somewhere on here with pics and a full detail...

Thanks for the heads up. I know that some of the lower end F3x's have 160mm inside diameter rear rotors (vs 185mm) but I thought the 328's had the larger size.
Actually a friend of mine has the 160mm on his stock rear brakes. But he was able to find 345mm x 24mm rear rotors that have 160mm inside diameter to fit his parking brake so he can bolt them on and upgrade to the M Sport 2-piston Brembo calipers.

The RWD F30 4 cyls def have the smaller inside diameter (not sure on xdrive models). https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1004809

You might be referencing the Mperformance rear rotors, I think you can option those for the smaller rear hub diameter for 4 cyls. I chose to just upgrade the front brakes and leave rear stock, biggest bang for the $.
