TPM system driving me insane
Took my 435i to the mountains this weekend, and on the way back down I got a warning for a low tire. Pulled over and all 4 tires were at the same PSI they were at the day before when I checked them before going on the trip. The reset option is grayed out in the TPM section of the menu when I go to it, and the system does not show any individual tire pressures. I have spent a solid 2 hours trying every sequence I can think of, I've read several threads that talk about just initiating the reset and then driving, but I can't even get it to allow me to start the reset procedure. I disconnected the battery and when it runs through all its checks on the heads-up display, it says that the TPM system is inactive. From what I read, this explains why it doesn't show the individual tire pressures and why I can't reset it, but how hot the heck do I get rid of the warning? All tires pressures are fine, it won't let me get out of comfort or Eco mode now either due to the warning. I have the Bimmercode app on my phone and the OBD dongle, but I keep getting an error on that for which I am waiting on a reply from the developer of the app. Going nuts here, any ideas?
