I have a 2013 328i X DRIVE I installed M performance brakes but the rear rotors did not fit because I do not have E brakes the style number ends with 598 for the rear rotors apparently I have mechanical brakes does any one know what style number I'm suppose to get my stock rotors are bigger.

Yes. 600 will fit on your car.
But that's not because 598 is for E-Brakes.
All F3x have mechanical emergency brakes, but they vary in two sizes on the inner disc diameter.
598 is for 335i/340i like cars 600 is for US 328i/330i and lower engines.

Amazing how every other person who does this mod manages to have the same problem.

Good luck op, it'll look fantastic when done!

Omg this is giving me flashbacks to 2 weeks ago when I had this exact problem. I literally had the car on the hoist and I went to get cash and a coffee while the shop was doing the swap. Then I get a call saying that the rotors don't fit. I eventually got the 34206797600 rotors that oceanview mentioned here. I know because I have the exact same car with the same sized rotors. To my understanding the 598 is for RWD 328/330 and lower cars and 607 is for xDrive plain rotors, 600 is for xDrive drilled and slotted rotors. The 598 rotors have a hat that's too small for the knuckle of the rear rotors. In any case 607 is what you need for your car.

The 330 RWD uses the large hub rotor now (same as the xdrive one).

Only the 320/328i RWD cars used the small hub 598 rotor. All xDrive, 6cyl models, and 330i RWD use the 600 large hub rotor.

the best thing is to look up in www.realoem.com for your specific car entering your cars VIN code or at least your car detail AND production date.

There is also a difference between Europe and US models.
With entering the VIN Code you should be fine finding the part that fits.
