OEM Options

Is there a factory replacement kit that will fit a 2014 328i RWD ?

I'm researching suspension upgrades and am hesitant to go with an unmatched spring/strut combo.

Looking for increased firmness and decreased body roll, mainly. Do not want to lose too much height. I have 40mm gap with my current wheel/tire setup.

How about the m performance kit? Not too low, decently priced and oem.

Do you have part numbers?

I went on the official BMW parts site (I think) and it did not show any suspension components as compatible when I selected my specific vehicle.

Here ya go:

BMW # 33502320980

If interested in coilovers check out KW Street Comfort or Bilstein B14/B16, these each have modest lowering compared to many coilover options.

Thanks. That is a sweet kit - for sure.

Seems to be a hell of a lot more gear than what you would get for around the same price as Bilstein, KW etc. correct?

Does this make it the 'smarter' choice or will performance still be subpar when compared to higher aftermarket brand coils?

Just noticed - no springs in that kit. Wonder what factory spring is "designed" to work best with these...

Ah that's right, that kit doesn't include them.

From GetBMWParts.com:
"*Springs sold separately or can be bundled into our kits by selecting option in dropdown. **Kit for vehicles without M Sport suspension also gets new front and rear sway bars and hardware. (that's why it's more expensive for that option)"

The kit is certainly more expensive when you aren't already on the M Sport suspension. The aftermarket options do not require all those extra components for install.

I think this kit is actually made by Bilstein, at BMW specs, so it's going to be of similar quality standards.

Another vote for KW Street Comfort coilovers especially if you are looking for improved suspension behavior while maintaining daily driving comfort. My previous vehicle - 2013 BMW 335i sedan - had these coilovers.
