3 series g20 laser lights

Hi im collecting my car on Tue and it has the laser lights, can anybody tell me what the middle lense does? (the one that is usually a dummy)

i have attached a picture showing the one in question

It comes on in conjunction with the outer, on both dip and main. Has a different spread though.

They might be the full beam lights. So with laser light you have normal (LED), high beam (LED) below 37mph and then laser full beam above 37mph. At least that's what happens on the G05 so i am guessing its the same!?

They are better than the Xenons in my previous F30 but I wouldn’t say they are a game changer.
They are better in the sense that they are brighter and give a greater range but when I had the F30, I thought the Xenons and the High Beam Assist were excellent.
The G20 laser lights are excellent +.

One more question, are the LEDs the same level of brightness on the adaptive unit or do you get an upgraded output in the laser unit in dipped beam mode ?

Turn the light control switch on your right to automatic and press the bottom button on the left hand stork on the steering wheel.
Everything then is automatic.
