I do think that map switching is a great feature. Nothing to do with OTS maps staying the same. It is what we call "Quality Of Life" update.

I can see myself doing MPPK map for daily driving with cheap gas and stage 2 when I hit the track. This is a great feature indeed (when it will be avail for PWG).

The real biggie here is the introduction of flex fuel capabilities. I'm crossing my finger us PWG fellas get the capability as well.

Wouldn't you want the other way around?

You would want to run something closer to an OEM tune/conservative tune on a track where you may end up pushing the car to 9/10ths or 10/10ths for 20+ minutes continuously?

You never have enough power on the track... never. Not planning on maxing out the power for the track, but a mild tune with the proper add on and keeping an eye on the oil temp should be fine. I have faith in the N55

Did anyone with a upgraded HPFP have any problems with the new tune? I flashed my car and im getting only like 150 PSI. I tried flashing to the previous tune and its doing the same thing.

So, any of you gents have the flex fuel capability up and running so that it scales bn two chosen maps, such as Stg 2 93 & Stg 2+ E30, based on ethanol content?

You N55 EWG guys have had this in your hands while us M2 guys are waiting, so I assume you all have it figured out?

it hasn't even been two weeks yet. I don't know anyone who's done it tbh

Yeah, I know.

Mostly, designatedposter pointed out that the flexfuel option may not work bn various octane maps like I described, and it's more for scaling up/down within the Stg 2+ E30 map based on actual ethanol content.

Just waiting for someone to play with it to confirm if that is/isn't the case. Hopefully the option comes over to us M2 guys soon to play with.

You can't yet choose which OTS maps to run in a CustomRom unless you are a Tuner, but you can run one of the MultiMap(Stg 1, 2, or 2+). 2+ contains 2+ E30 and 2+ Race Gas.

Once you flash a MultiMap, you can use the LiveAdjust option on the left of the BM3 screen to do a manual override of the flex fuel sensor if you do not have one or if at the track and don't want to wait for adaptation time -you can adjust the slider from 0% ethanol to 100% ethanol. Seems to nicely increase my timing from low to high revs...I'm running E50.. Liveadjust ethanol % resets when the ignition is turned off though, so will have to set that back up upon start-up if want.

Gotcha.

So, you could set up auto flex fuel adjustments based on actual ethanol content via an ethanol sensor if you’re using Stg 2 93 & Stg 2 E30 or Stg 2+ Race Gas & Stg 2+ E30, but not if you want to go bn Stg 2 93 & Stg 2+ E30?

Supposedly the option to create your own maps with each slot filled with your OTS map of choice is coming but right now a custom tuner can create a custom multimap with any map you'd like.

The OTS MultiMaps as they exist right now are in the PNG attachment.

the question is:
if you flash multimap stage 2+,
select the e30 map,
add e50 fuel,
let flex fuel sensor do its job OR live adjust to e50,
does the timing advance for the e50 fuel vs the default e30?

conversely, what if you were to use e10.. does it retard timing?

Yes, they are flex fuel maps and are tuned to do that I'd imagine among adjusting fuel scalers, AFR, and more.

May try this out and log one day.

If you have the flex fuel sensor it does all the adjustments for you. That’s the whole point of it.

Edit: Fixed log links.

Here is a Stg 2 MultiMap log with E55. Used LiveAdjust to override ethanol sensor and set 55% ethanol level.

..seems to run leaner than the regular Stg 2 93 Octane map...at least on the E55 fuel I'm running on this log. Sorry it is a long log with many pulls.

https://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=60ad...729b2a0badc5cc **Sent this log to PTF/BM3 to see about why it looks a bit lean on AFR.

The Stg 2+ Multimap log on E55 is still several orders more powerful though than the Stg 2 multimap:

Do you have an upgraded HPFP? It's my understanding the stock HPFP can't supply enough fuel for anything over E30.

Yes, Dorch Stage 2 and fuel pressure never dips in the logs.

I just sent this issue off to BM3 support to have a look at the log.
