Will 245/40/19 on 442m 19" wheels fit the front?
Looking to run 245/40/19 for the winter on 442M wheels, the car is a 335i X-drive lowered on Eibach springs (About a .8" drop).
Will this rub in the front? Can get a great price on a set of tires in this size. |

Yes, you can fit the fronts. Worse case slight rubbing of fender liner in partial-/full-lock (depends on car and tires).
As 442m are staggered rims (8" front, 8.5" rear), what size do you plan to fit in the rear? You need to maintain the overall diameter for your x-drive, but matching 275/35/19 would be extremely wide for an 8.5" wide rim. |

Was looking to run the 442s as my winter set with a square 245 setup, 235 is hard to find and 225 will need to be stretched on the rear. Don't really get too much snow where I live, so wider tires are fine.
And the extra sidewall from a 245/40 will be a nice bonus to run over the winter. |
