coding DSC to make your F-series fun...

I've spent the afternoon trying to adapt information in this superb blog entry to the F-series.

My car is a 2/2014 build M235i 6MT with a Quaife LSD.

What I've got so far. These are all DSC => 3000 nodes.
Engine Power Reduction to Prevent Brake Disc Overheating (FLR)
?

Brake Fading Compensation (HPS)
C_Funktion_Fadingkompensation_aktiv_I
activ => nicht_activ

Hydraulic Brake Assist (HBA)
?

Brake Standby (EVB)
C_Funktion_Bremsbereitschaft_aktiv_I
activ => nicht_activ

Maximum Brake Support (HVV)
?

Dynamic Performance Control (FDB)
C_Funktion_FDB_GMV_aktiv_I, already nicht_active (likely owing to the fact that I'm RWD?)

Electronic Differential (AX_Ref_Diff_Lock)
C_Funktion_Differenzialsperre_aktiv_l
activ => nicht_activ

I'd appreciate help filling in the blanks (where applicable) and correcting errors. Thanks for reading!

It is a 3 year old post. Maybe somebody can explain to us what was the OP trying to achieve. I would imagine since he had an lsd he wanted to remove the e-diff and any other nannies

Currently trying to get rid of the joy killing nannies to make my brakes more consistent on the track. Has anyone figured out what the Maximum Brake Support (HVV) is for the F chassis yet? If not, can someone help figure it out?

Interesting article.
I’m wondering if there is a way to disable these boring nannies only in Sport+. I think that would be better option for guys that don’t use aftermarket sport brakes, but still want to enjoy the ride every now and then.

Yep: I had an LSD and wanted to remove e-diff and whatever was pulling throttle when the wheel was turned.

An update to this thread for LCI F30s..I have a 2016 340i Xdrive with M sport pack. I went through this stuff last night with Steve at codemybimmer.

FLR is already disabled from the factory, fade compensation is enabled (we disabled this,) I didn't touch the other brake assists because they actually do help me for street driving, and the torque vectoring and e-diff are on by default, which I think is a benefit for performance if you don't have an aftermarket LSD. But the main thing is I wanted to make sure FLR is off, which it is by default.

What's more interesting is that I'm pretty sure torque vectoring (BMW calls this "Performance Control") can be coded into other F-series models which is AMAZING imo. It's a fantastic way to add performance to a car for almost free. IMO this is more beneficial than people coding in Sport+ or launch control.
