Sideview mirror folding motor broken

I was walking in the garage and accidentally bumped my girlfriends F30 side mirror and now it won't fold in anymore. I looked at it already and unfortunately the gears are plastic and the housing is plastic welded so I gave up on trying to repair it.

I plan on buying one from the junkyard or ebay and replacing. Has anyone done this? This can be done without coding right?

She has:

S313A=Yes

S430A=Yes

S459A=Yes

S5AGA=No

The model number on her side mirror on the outside of her car is A046314 so am just wondering if this first part of the model number will work with the above options. Does anyone know? Some say it is 5 or 6 pin. Does anyone know based on model # whether it is 5 or 6 pin because I don't want to have to take it apart again before I have the correct replacement one?

So it power folds, dims, has memory, but is not gloss black (just regular plastic)? No camera or lane change triangle?

Those should be really easy, no coding required. Just make sure it is from the same side drive car (RHD vs LHD), you’ll want a 5 pin with dimming- if it has dimming it has folding for US market cars. Also, if the glass and cap is still good you can look for one for cheaper without those (or with a different color cap) and save more money. I got shadow line (gloss black) ones that were the same spec for $150 with glass and caps, so if you look around you could probably grab one for like $100-$125. An easy tell is the black plastic border on the glass if it is dimming- also run the donor VIN in a VIN decoder to confirm it has dimming and folding.
