Ooshnoo,

I am 5' 10- 11" and have a 2014 F30 and coded the following in the SM2 module:
3000 SM_Global_6 >EINAUSSTEIGSHILFE from nicht_aktiv to Modus_FA_SLV
3012 EAH > EAH_VERFAHRWEG_SLV_PHYS from 00, 3C to 00, 37
3012 EAH >EAH_SCHUTZFREI_RAUM_HINTEN_SLV_PHYS from 00,64 to 00, 37

I did this coding almost 2 years ago and it has been working like a champ:if you need to adjust, the values are millimeters, but stated in hex

Hope that helps

What about your FEM_BODY coding?

FEM_BODY Module:
30C0 EINSTIEGSH_LN_AKTIV set to: aktiv
30C0 EINSTIEGSH_NG_AKTIV set to: aktiv
30C0 PRIO_ACHSEN werte = 02

But I can't for the life of me get it to move the seat back automatically when I shut off the car.

I've coded it as such:

In the SM2 (6d) module:
3000 SM_GLOBAL -> EINAUSSTIEGSHILFE = Modus_FA_SLV
3012 -> EAH_VERFAHRWEG_SLV_PHYS = Werte=00, 28
3012 -> EAH_SCHUTZFREIRAUM_HINTEN_SLV_PHYS = Werte=00, 3C

I'm only 5'10" so these entries should suffice, yes?

I've browsed so many of these threads here and on other sites for hours to no avail.

Does anyone else have any ideas?

Yep. I coded the last one right after i posted here, and still it doesn't fully work. The first 2 were already set to aktiv.

Try this:

SM2 (6d) Module
3000 EINAUSSTIEGSHILFE set to: Modus_FA_SLV
3012 EAH_VERFAHRWEG_SLV_PHYS werte = 00, 64
3012 EAH_SCHUTZFREIRAUM_HINTEN_SLV_PHYS werte = 00, 00

What about the passenger seat if there is no No SM2 (6e) module. At least I haven't found it. Got driver seat to work no problem. Thank you!

Curious as to why coding for these modules is needed if no electric steering column? When I got that section it's titled Electric Steering Wheel.

I'm striking out on this one. I'm 6'3" and wife is 5'0" so it seems like with that variance some of the settings above would not work.

Initially when I used:

In the SM2 (6d) module:
3000 SM_GLOBAL -> EINAUSSTIEGSHILFE = Modus_FA_SLV
3012 -> EAH_VERFAHRWEG_SLV_PHYS = Werte=00, 28
3012 -> EAH_SCHUTZFREIRAUM_HINTEN_SLV_PHYS = Werte=00, 3C

Her seat was working correctly but when I opened the door the seat was still slid way forward. I changed:

3012 -> EAH_VERFAHRWEG_SLV_PHYS = Werte=00, 28 and raised the last value to 64 and then 90 and that made my seat go back to near the correct position but then on hers when she opens the door there is no easy entry, it is just what I would call easy exit where it slides back upon exit.

Gave up for now and put all settings back to standard and came here for some advice on what values might work? Might have to break down and hire a coding service on this one.

the code doesn't control how far up it slides up. It slides back when u open the door according to settings n when u close n start engine it slides up to last position (u must have "return to last position" selected in idrive)

Now can someone help me?? Why I only have one sm2 module?? Does everyone have 2 and if so do u have memory seats on passenger side too?? I coded drivers side fine but can't find other sm2 module. Smfh
Thank you!!

Sorry I might have misunderstood. Try changing
3012 -> EAH_SCHUTZFREIRAUM_HINTEN_SLV_PHYS = Werte=00, 3C

To 00,00

But be careful when ur seat goes back it doesn't crush someone behind you.

I just coded the 3 lines below in my new F30 (340i ‘18) and it worked like a charm. I must say though, the ECU in this models is now called CFAS.

3000 SM_GLOBAL -> EINAUSSTIEGSHILFE = Modus_FA_SLV
3012 -> EAH_VERFAHRWEG_SLV_PHYS = Werte=00, 28
3012 -> EAH_SCHUTZFREIRAUM_HINTEN_SLV_PHYS = Werte=00, 3C

Just coded this on my 440i and it works perfectly. I just used the cheat codes in esys to do it, but I think the settings are the same as MrTowers above.

I have a 2016 f30. Coded the seat for easy entry and adjusted the 2 positional values as explained in this thread. NOTHING works for me.

Is the 2016 LCI not supported?

Edit: I'll take that back. After changing the max value to 00,00 it does appear to work. I had originally set it to 20mm but apparently that was not enough. I do sit pretty far back and I am 6ft2.

Well another follow up. After I got it working (see above) it appears to be very dodgy. Most of the time it does nothing! I've only felt it working twice out of maybe a dozen times.

I am doing nothing different. Not even moving the seat manually. It's always set to my preferred memory 2. Just the same way as when it DID work a couple of times.

Any ideas?

I am trying to code for this using bimmercode....

In expert mode, I can find the items, but to put in the values you guys mention(werte 00, 28), in bimmercode code it says byte 0, OxOO......do I put in Ox28?....
