I would even go as far as to say that the convertible version of *any* model is the least popular one.

That's because we're special. We don't follow the masses.

The same reason the last thread (the sticky one) died in 2017, and probably most people posted in that thread had sold their convertibles.

A sweet ride. Spring - summer- fall evenings with the top down are special times.

Your car is clean, can't even notice the Xpel wrap, let alone the lint and shrinkage. Enjoy your ride and the time with your family!

I'd agree that it's one of the least purchased chassis. There are probably quite a few people that would like to have one, but choose another path (either a convertible from someone else or a non-convertible).

Convertibles are something that you either love or hate. If you don't love them, and love the way a BMW handles, they're probably not worth the extra money that BMW charges for them.

This is my fourth convertible (two Le Barons, a Sebring and my 430i). I clearly fall into the "love them" category.

I’m driving. We are taking trips to get carry out. Just have to be within 1 bathroom stop. Our big convertible get away we do every year has been canceled.
My wife and I take about a 1 hour drive every Saturday and as long as its above 50 and not raining the top is down.

Completely agree! My wife and I bought our first convertible in 96. It was a Cavalier Z24 convertible, don't be jealous. Our next car was a 2007 Volkswagen EOS and we got completely hooked on the hard top. We were so bummed that BMW was changing to soft top we had to buy a 2020 and we will drive the wheels off it. Hopefully by 2030 someone else will be making hardtops again.

The new vette is supposed to have a hard top convertible coming. That's probably my next hard top.

Sorry I should have said four seater. Mercedes also makes a 2 seat hard top but the C8 is extraordinary. It's hard top only adds 80 lbs to the car

440 x drive with Alpina wheels, MPPK, lowered, front spoiler, rear fascia and mirror caps in CF, Manici mats. A great all rounder for Canadian climate. really pleased with it.

Unfortunately hard-top is going to become part of history. I was disappointed that Volvo was ending the C70 in 2013, now BMW is doing the same. I remember back around 2010 there were so many hard top convertibles choices: Volvo C70, BMW E93, Volkswagen EOS, Infinity G37, Lexus IS, just to name a few 4-seaters, there are no 4 seat hardtop convertibles on the market anymore.

Sorry, no need for a coat in Florida. When you put your top down its probably too hot for me and when mines down, you have snow and ice

A Google search revealed a thread back in 2015 with no solution. I don't think you can attach anything to the headrest because it's fixed to the seat, but you may be able to attach a coat hanger like this to the rear headrest poles facing forward, assuming your coat is not too long to touch the rear seat cushion.

2015 thread: https://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=847477
Coat hanger: https://www.bmw.ca/en/topics/offers-...rt-system.html

A second though your best solution is probably the wind deflector, if you have it installed, you may put a clamp like this and hang a regular cloth hanger through the clamp.

Very unique with those wheels. Looks great! What front spoiler is that do you recall?

I like the car seat you put in the rear seat and the removed headrest. Where did you attach the top tether if you don't mind?
