There is very little to be gained over the OTS map. A custom tune will maybe add 1-2 psi and even if it does your timing will probably suffer.

I've seen a cary jordan custom tune for m235i and their 0-60 on dragy was 3.36 and 1/4 11.29 on stock turbo and stock fueling with e30 mix.

You just said in your OP that you wanted a 93 tune.... you can't compare a pump gas tune to a ethanol mix tune.

I would love to see what you are referring to, please share the link, because that is incredibly fast for a stock turbo/fuel system car... I think like world record fast, although i don't follow that kind of thing.

Anyways, there is very little to be gained from a custom tune even on E30. This was just discussed in this thread: https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1853855

Nice too bad he doesnt have any datalogs that i can see. Cary Jordan is probably the most aggressive tune if that's what you want.

an e30 tune is your final shot at more power, after that it's fueling and turbo upgrade.

Get a HPFP + LPFP and max out that turbo. Otherwise a custom tune will do nothing for you.

You only need the HPFP unless you are going above about E70 on stock turbo, or running PI. Stock HPFP is got for all but full E85 essentially, with stock turbo. Some people have even reporting E85 tunes with FX-180 HPFP on stock turbo/LPFP, but others say they were LPFP limited around E70 with ~20-21 psi.

Are you sure that guy has stock HPFP? I just checked one of the databases and it seems to show him (under a slightly different name but exact same ET and MPH) as having a FX-150. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...MCWwH/pubhtml#

Something doesn't seem to add up?

Here's what you said:

So the 11.29 run was not on stock fueling, but the 11.59 was. That clarifies that discrepancy.

Anyways in the other thread i linked you can watch the guys video and see the discussion was to why the OTS map basically already maxes out the stock fuel system on E30. If your fuel quality is excellent they might be able to throw a little more timing at it to try and make more power but what typically happens is a custom tune will either raise boost over the OTS map and HPFP will crash, or they will put aggressive timing and you will end up with knock or corrections. Lots of people have went down this road before.

My stock hpfp was crashing at e25 anything above 19.5 psi

Put in wmi and could run 23psi, 26 with e20 on stock turbo.

Look into MLYFE on instagram, they should be able to guide you in the right direction with tuning

Lol for sure.

It was between 3 and 5krpm.

I remember not being to hold more than about 14psi above 6k.

Certainly don't want to suggest to anyone attempt the same if turbo longevity is of any concern. I did it just a few runs the day before I had ps2 installed just to see what it was capable of.
