F30 335i 2013 exhaust camshaft sensor implausible
Hi.
Please can you help me..... My beautiful F30 335 motor decided to run bearings. After installing a new motor and fitting everything correctly according to BMW spec we then encountered an error. Make sure the timing is right from VANOS to the solenoids to even testing out the valvetronic and changing the servo gear and even swapping out the sensors for some reason I can't get rid of this error. Last but not least we even tested out continuity as well as voltage to each sensor on the exhaust and intake camshaft sensors and still nowhere. My question is is there tuning that needs to be done to calibrate the engine with the dme in order for the computer box to read it correctly or somewhere along those lines or if you have any advice I will gladly appreciate it: Engine runs smoothly and it was even taken to BMW dealership 2 double and triple check everything was installed correctly. PS. the dealership service manager concluded that the dme box might be faulty which I highly doubt as the dme never gave an issue prior to the bearings running on the previous motor. Is there any other tests that I should do in order for me to make a conclusion. Also BMW did install the m performance kit software don't know if that makes a difference. Otherwise the car is stock standard. Thanks again Last edited by deedat786; 12-26-2019 at 06:15 PM.. |
