I have had an Andream headunit which has decided not to connect via Bluetooth . However there is no problem on OEM BMW, it’s only when I try & connect through car play & get a frozen screen & my I phone doesn’t recognize car play (only connection through BMW. This obviously results in no car play, is there an update or factory re-set for this? I’ve accessed the factory settings bet can’t see a factory rest? Is it possible to correct this BimmerCode? Thank you, any assistance appreciated

The Chinese aftermarket CarPlay add on run instead of the OEM HeadUnit and CID.

Bimmerlink, BimmerCode, Carly, ProTools, eSys or ISTA tools meant to adjust the OEM Equipment have zero ability to work on the aftermarket computer unit as a result. It is not a part of the OEM System.

Thanks for reply, are you aware of any upgrade or if I can re-set head unit?

That’s something you would need to obtain from the manufacturer/distributor/seller.
