Bit late to the post, but as a newbie BMW owner, I picked my 2016 plate up with only 20k miles on it last Wednesday, drove 250 miles home, put brand new tyres on it, drove around 12 miles home from the fitters, then the following day took the family out to show them my new car and going round a corner steadily, dry road +12c I lost power and the traction control light was flashing and continued for at least 10-15 seconds going down then up a hill in a straight line, the only way to get power back was to turn traction off.

I've only been out in it once since and it was ok, very strange.
