Android?
Hi guys, my brother asked me for help with buying a new car.
I just spent an hour trying to figure out the infotainment options and I'm ready to give up. Can someone tell me if it's possible to get Android screen mirroring on the 2019 F34 and what options I need to pick? Thanks |

Just consider the buy in to be around what BMW might charge as an option. Its not terrible in the scheme of things and will be the best alternative. Still is annoying when other OEM's can integrate CarPlay and Android Auto without much fuss. This one is still missing wireless, so not perfect but seems to be decent otherwise also look into JoyAuto and Unichip as alternatives these seem promising too: https://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1566062 Last edited by rambleon84; 07-16-2019 at 02:59 PM.. |

Yeah, it's cool to have aftermarket options but my brother is looking to lease a new car for 3 years, he's not gonna spend extra $600 or more on a car he won't be keeping.
Right now it looks like he should be able to get some functionality with screen mirroring and coding it to unlock video while driving. He really wants to use Waze. |
