Flash tune or piggyback and track day abuse?

Guys,

Have you experienced, seen, or heard of problems on b58 cars with either flash or piggyback tunes while driving car hard at track days or autocrosses? I’m wondering if running WOT for extended periods is going to be a problem.

Is there a tune that’s easiest to set to stock for this sort of event?

Thanks

I think any of the flash tunes that are currently available will make it easy to revert to stock when you want. I say "think" because I know my Mission Performance tune makes it easy and I have to assume all the others do as well

Personally, if I were to track, I'd probably flash back to stock. No need for me to beat the piss out of it for extended periods and run more boost lol.

I've done enough TD with JB+ on. No issues at all and no hesitation using full power. Man science suggests as I lap faster, I'm putting the car under stress for a shorter amount of time

The beauty of the mission/bm3/mhd flash maps are that you can start your trackday at stock power and then raise it as your confidence increases until you are happy to have one flying lap on full power and full noise as you are going home anyway and don't care about black flags.

You never want to leave a track day with regret. Things like "I could have gone faster"....just saying...ha.

As long as you are running the recommended maps, there is nothing to worry about. I do always recommend upgrading the cooling components for track cars.
