Coding cable and ESYS, psdzdata

I have a 2015 335i xDrive with a July 2015 production date.

How do I know which one to choose or does it even matter? I've been using f020_18_07_547_v_004_001_000 thus far and it seems to work.

I must have found the same download you did. I was about to ask the same question before I googled F020_18_03_532_V_004_001_000. So as far as I understand when coding you should always go with latest target and newest psdzdata correct?

Use newest version, in this case f020_18_07_547_v_004_001_000.

That depends on your cars I-Step.
If the I-Step is brand new, you should also use the latest psdzdata and target. If the I-Step is older, you can also use older psdzdata or target.
psdzdata or target must be always newer than the cars i-step.

E-sys has to be installed in the root of the drive. The launcher will look for it there. It also doesn't have to be on the system drive, as long as it's the root.

Which version do you use?
Start as Administrator?
Current NetFramework installed?
I would try to deinstall and reinstall.

Try right clicking it and running as administrator and not double clicking like you stated if you haven't yet.

I had a similar issue when setting up 2.8.2 inside a VM. I was able to install it by deleting out the VM check in the msi installer but it would not actually start. I tried poking around in the dll files but couldn't find what I was looking for.

Anyways, if you open task manager you should see it in there for about 30 seconds before it disappears. If so then check your event log>>Applications. It should tell you what check it is failing in the descriptions. Mine was still searching for, and able to find, a VM in the code. In case anyone is wondering and using VMWare Workstation, yes you can still install in a VM and get it to work. Just not without some manipulation.

That was it...wiped everything...now I have a new issue...created a thread. I'm guessing psdz isn't new enough?
