Shawn,

Could you point me in the right direction for the E-Sys and PSdZData for coding a 2014 F30?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Why? Newer firmware blocked .bin loading via USB. Waste of time.

Laptop requirements for coding, local or remote, are minimal.

Trying to understand nomenclature

I have the 2018 X3 m40i (not sure the last part matters).

G01 is the Chassis Code.

I am working to setup esys.

One post I saw says that F025 is "all X3" Another indicates S15A. Are these two items referencing the same information and designation? Or, are they designating two different things?

Is it correct that when running eSYS, I should be choosing S15A?

Will BMW Coding Database help me at all since G01 is not listed as an option? F025 is listed as an option. Therefore, do the F025 options work on my G01 based on the F025 is "all X3"?

I see this is the 3-series and 4-series forum. But, this one thread pops up every time I search, and fail, to find the answers to the 3 questions above.

Thanks in Advance!
Paul

F025 are the old X3 up to 2017(?).
Maybe the information was too old.
The newer G01 has to connect with S15A.
It's not easy to say which options from the older chassis F025 will work, but you can test it all.
If it doesn't work code it backwards.

Afternoon, trying desperately to get the software to work but every time I run launcher premium it just asks for the pin but hasn’t enabled me to generate one. Tried uninstalling etc but it’s as if one is already set up? What am I doing wrong!

Unfortunately, E-Sys Launcher PREMIUM 2.8.2 .EST Token expired 12/30/2018, and for now there is no updated E-Sys Launcher. There is a workaround here to rearm it:

Thanks Shawn. I tried that but I haven’t actually been able to run premium at all yet, after install it just asks for the pin - is that caused by the above?

When I run that batch file it says it’s unable to change the date even though I’m within the specified range for the version (I think).

Tearing my hair out, just want to get my new 10.25” screen to work

Yes, that is the cause. Also, you cannot use Win10 Build 1809.

Contact Rearm Developer Tony if you have issues with Rearm Script.

Ok thanks for the quick reply.

Do I need to generate a token for what I’m trying to do? I’m a bit confused as to what they’re required for

Rearm should work so long as you are not on 1809. Contact Tony if it is not.
