Calculated an estimated 13.1-13.6lbs saved at each wheel with my setup from the stock 400m+Bridgestone RFT. That's a 52.4-54.4lbs reduction of rotational mass which explains the significant change in feel and engine response.

This doesn't include lug bolts/studs or tpms. Also can't get hard numbers for the rotors but I believe my 2piece 340mm save around 2-2.5lbs.
Wait, not to hijack my own topic, but you're proposing our cars are faster with run flats? Shit, I've got 245/40/18 go-flats on my 400s now and they feel like butter, but maybe they're slowing me down.
Nah I actually hijacked with the unsprung mass discussion lol.

And No you got that backwards. The run flats make it slower because they are heavier then an go flat in the same size. For eg, the stock and summer config I have in my photo are two different tire sizes. Oem is 225/45/18. My summer setup is 255/40/18 and still about 5lbs lighter.

Got it, so stick with smaller brakes and a less stretched go flat and we're good. Right?
Yes don't go back to runflats unless you like driving on bricks

Agreed 100% on go flats, best decision I've made so far on my car. No worries on hijacking my original post. My topics recently have led to some good discussion.

So I'm still deciding on rotors and pads to maintain the 340/330 setup. Regardless of where I land, I do plan on upgrading the lines and doing a fluid flush. Any specific fluid brand/spec you recommend?

Edit: no need to reply on the fluid rec. I see it in your original reply, unless you care to expand on it some.

Using motul 5.1 but anything above oem as far as wet/dry boiling point should be an improvement. Try to buy it from fcp euro so you can use their lifetime warranty. If you are only ever daily driving the car than oem fluid will be just as good. Fresh fluid makes a pretty good improvement in brake feel.
