Brake Fluid Flush

I have a 2020 440, the car computer says it's not due for a brake flush until spring of 22. Car is 2.5 years old, about 36k miles. In for its last free oil change. The agreed to do the brake fluid flush. I was pleasantly surpised.

Now I need to find a place moving forward to get oil changes.

If you have the space, do your own!
Doing your own routine maintenance is easy, cheap, and you’ll get to know your car better. Plus you’ll never have to worry about greasy finger prints on your interior, or whether or not the guy doing the work did it correctly. YouTube is your friend if you’re new to wrenching.

I think BMWNA now has $200 oil change plan for 3 years (per iDrive) for F3*, that is not bad for BMW oil.

Frist brake fluid change is 3 years from production date (not in service date).

Since it takes time to ship and then deliver (which starts in service date), so first brake fluid change usually is covered.

I ordered mine. It's less than three years old. I was happy they agreed to do it.

Yeah service usually won't miss any chargeable items to BMWNA.

Since your production date likely is 1-2 months prior to delivery date (aka in-service date), the 3-year from production date is due before your 3-year new car free maintenance (starting from in-service date) runs out.

OT but how does this work? I know FCP takes all their stuff back but this seems pretty extreme.

If you're going to drive old oil/filter to UPS or whatever why not just take it to a Quickie-Lube or auto parts store instead?

What do you mean?

How it works is FCP takes back your used oil and gives you a refund.

But by default you have to pay for return shipping.

So sign up for PayPal's free return shipping program, and then purchase your oil using PayPal from FCP.

Simply dumping it at your local auto store doesn't get you any refund from FC P
