I already have put the old CAFD for Hu-CIC and REM, but the problem remains.
any suggestions?

Does your PDC module have CAFD with Green Dot?

Hi Shawn,

I do not have a PDC module. I also checked in previous SVT files but also there's no PDC present.

I only have rear PDC.

Yes, REM has a green dot. I also have replaced the old CAFD to be sure all settings are ok.

Can I do al VO code for all CAFD again, this time with no engine running, without causing problems.
could it be that during my previous VO coding something else was set wrong?

Can I try to do a VO code for all CAFD again, this time with no engine running, without causing problems? I now have only VO coded REM and Hu-CIC.

Yes. You can run the motor and VO Code everything except DME. DME is not the issue for sure.

Hey Shawn - since we're on the subject of REM/PDC... i'm looking to do a rear PDC retrofit on my F30. In order to do that, i need to retrofit my REM with an upgraded REM that has an additional connector needed to support rear PDC sensors.

The part that makes me nervous about this is the coding required. I've done cosmetic coding successfully for lighting, disabling warnings, etc... but nothing this major. Would it be as simple as adding a new option to the car? And actually i don't even know how to do that

Do you know what i need to do in order to code up the new REM for this PDC retrofit? I assume my current CAFD will not work.

My best guess is you would need to add one of these option codes to FA (depending on exactly what you retrofit), and then VO code ICM, PDC, and Head Unit:

S507A Park Distance Control (PDC) Rear
S508A Park Distance Control (PDC) Front & Rear

I didn't realize you can still have a bunch of errors even though nothing shows up on the dash. That, and the fact that coding changes to one module could affect others somewhat concerns me. I'd like to see what potentially hidden errors show up as i did a bunch of seemingly cosmetic code changes recently.

Can i get a link to the EDIABAS/Tool32 software?

Also this INPA or ISTA Reingold diag tool seems intriguing - can i get a link to that as well to check it out?

Thanks Shawn!
