What's wrong with the M Performance one?
But if you're intent on F80 style, the CF version is coming soon here: http://www.autotecknic.com/product_p/bm-0260.htm |

I'm glad I got sick of waiting and went with the M Performance style. The F80 spoiler looks too small IMO on the F30 looking at the pics in the link 2 posts above by teaston
The one twincam23 went with is more like it! I'll stick with my M performance style though

UPDATE
Finally found an OEM one at around for USD$250 (paint and installation inclusive). I was a bit disappointed with it because it is not as subtle as i expected it to be. The angle is still a bit too high for me. If anyone is looking for a subtle look, look elsewhere.

Holy thread resurrection, but is there any option other than BMW for this part ? A confirmed eBay-special for example?

Rather than roll the dice, I waited around and looked hard for an OEM F80 takeoff stock spoiler. You should be able to source for $150 or less including shipping. The tough part is finding the correct color. I paid about $120 total for a BSM painted one. |

I recently got a m performance style painted spoiler from them for my F30, came from Taiwan and both colour match and fit are perfect. They may do the one you are looking for? |

Thanks for the suggestion, I've dropped them a note to see if they can do Individual colours for my F30.

Finally got a small lip spoiler for my F30; is it a requirement to adjust the spring tension for the tailgate once it's installed? I see Newtis has different settings for with/without a spoiler fitted... I am not even sure it's needed as it's quite light, but then again the moment it produces might affect the mechanism, I suppose I'll have to install it and see!

I found that even the small lip spoilers stop the boot opening efficiently, but removing the warning triangle and stowing in the underfloor compartment solved that. Interested to hear about Newtis settings, do you have a link please?

Yeap, here's the bit I am talking about:
https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/f...locks/IEE4X47r TBF I am not sure if it's applicable to all MYs, I haven't taken the trim panels out to check whether the different detents are there... |

This worked an absolute treat, no tools needed or panel removal, just peeled back the corners and moved the mounting point and job done. Thanks again for highlighting this!

Yeah, had a look last night (peeled the trim back, as you mentioned) and it's quite straightforward.
