When you installed your ECS cap, did you have to swap the piece of the oem cap that the filter slides onto?

yep had to transfer the entire middle plastic pieces to the aluminum one. if I remember right it just pulls out and pops into the new one.

I had my oil changed, along with the filter of course. I was leaking. It was collecting in the same spot yours was. I had the same tech order a new O ring, take off the cap, replaced the O ring, and re-tighten the cap. No problems since... I'd start there.

Hose from pelican parts came in the mail today so I swapped the new one with the broken one. Super easy, they're held together by a tiny c clamp. Attempted to get the oil filter cage off the oem cap which was oddly difficult and I once again broke something.
Cracked the top of the cage where it connects with the spring. Filter cage was still able to fit with the ECS tuning cap so not really worried. I'll order a new one and just replace it.
Drove it around for a bit and no leak. Not sure if it was the cap or the gasket but it's gone.. for now

No leaks thus far... wish I did the oil cap and gasket separately to see where the leak was actually coming from.
oil did seep into the tensioner pulley tho so now im getting some squeaking and squealing. Going to have to swap that out soon.

Looks like a bad cap o-ring seeping. I got a non Mann oil filter and the o-ring was the wrong dimensions and never sealed right the cap to housing. It should be quite tight to screw down the last few turns doable with to hands twisting however.
