Boot time even i havent timed it, it feels pretty same compared to 9.0

Im still on an MCU from July 2018. tbh i never experienced a low audio bug i dont know if its a Mcu thing or not. I was on 3.8.x aswell and it was the same since 2.3.x

Note:
for Android 9.0, change the file name to 'Ksw-P-Userdebug_OS_v1.2.5-ota.zip'.
for Android 10.0, don't need to change the file name.

Qualcomm upgrade instructions:
(Note: The upgrade process cannot be powered off and the files are not extracted.)
Upgrade path: U disk or SD card root directory
Step:
1. Copy the upgrade file to the root directory of the U disk/SD card (first level directory)
2. Insert the USB flash drive/SD card containing the upgrade file to the USB port.
3. Wait for the machine to recognize the SD card/U disk and the upgrade prompt box appears.
4. Click “Yes” and the system will start to upgrade until the vehicle terminal automatically restarts and the upgrade is successful.
5. The upgrade process takes 5 minutes.

I checked the update in comparison to 1.2.2, this version 1.2.5 is from 26th February 2020.

As The update is only one day younger than Android 9.0 3.8.5 probably from this build on come new features/fixes.

Good evening group, I waited to update my 10.25, there were too many bugs, now I read that the new update seems to have solved, do you know if I can go from 1.2 directly to 1.3 or do I have to do other steps? do you recommend to format the drive or can i overwrite it without problems? do power-on animations with splash files also work on Android 10? zlink is usually included in the rom, so if you had it before it should be there regardless

Can I download the new carplay software somewhere externally? I updated the dongle first and now I can no longer update the software because an error constantly occurs and then the program is closed when updating. Dongle itself works

I had the same problem with the update, everytime i tried to upgrade an error comes out. Fortunately the update remains saved in the device. Through ES File Explorer you can found it, i don't remember where.
If you use the Autoplay Box from avinusa i have a copy of the last update of january


Using ES File Explorer check:
1) Local with home icon\Home\Downloader folder
2) Local without home icon\Home\Download

This is frustrating, I've random bootloops, with the needed of factory reset and re install and re configure all.

It's a problem with Android 10, you can check out in Google "Android 10 bootloops".

I need to downgrade to Android 9, any help?

I have upgraded today from android 9 to 10 ver 1.2.0 and then updated to 1.3.0. There are no audio bug anymore. Everything work great.

You are referring to a different audio bug than in question here, which came with 3.8.3, where the volume level isn't correctly reflected by the volume slider. This is probably fixed in later versions. The low volume bug has been present always, where the volume is low after boot, until the music app, Bluetooth app or possibly other built in app, is launched. This bug we set up Tasker to handle.

Hi everyone! I´ve been a silent reader of the Android 9 and Android 10 forums for many months and now I have decided to share my experience.

I have an Andream Snapdragon 625 device with extra box (split version) 4 GB RAM and 64 GB ROM and LTE, latest 1.3.0. firmware and latest MCU firmware. No root. I have following USB devices attached to my unit: 128 GB SD-card with my music library, TPMS dongle, OTG-adapter, USB-DVR. Also, I have a non-OEM rearview camera.

I want to answer few questions:

1. Sygic and music. No, the switching between the songs when using Sygic doesn´t work. The switching works, when Sygic is not on the screen. I didn´t test the switching with other navigation apps.

2. The bass bug. I had the bug with Android 10. Now with 1.3.0. firmware it went away.

3. The sound volume bug from Android 9. It remained. BUT! When I start the stock media player WsWMediaKit and close it it doesn´t help anymore! I found a solution in creating a task in Tasker to set the media volume to 15 or max. level on start. It works for now.


Experience:

1. External DAC. I´ve used an USB-stick DAC from Sharkoon. Well, it works but the sound quality is just crap. It is hissing in the background so much that you can not hear the silent or slow music like classics or jazz without drumming bass. The conclusion: no difference or even worse than android sound card. My FiiO X5 is just the best. You kick it in the AUX and there is no better quality than that except you have more expensive hardware.


Questions:

1. My unit remembers the last apps which were opened during the last trip. How to make them close after reboot?

2. Does anyone know how to switch off the android debug mode? It is really annoying.

3. I´ve read that someone has a hissing sounds in background like me. Is that normal? It sounds like a working digital mechanism in the background and reminds me of an old gsm phone near a loudspeaker.
