Hi

Does your BMW F30-F31 with SMG gearbox jerk in low gears at low revs (light throttle in traffic)
If so, check those TYRE PRESSURES
Sounds odd I know, but I was suffering quite badly with this problem and it was spoiling the car
I checked my tyre pressures when I found out that the tyre pressure monitor system works from information received from the rolling radius of each tyre (difference in tyre pressure will effect the rolling radius of the tyre) if the rolling radius of a tyre is different from the other tyre on the the same axle, this will activate the TPM system

Taking this a step further, the Traction Control Systems works in a similar way, so if the system senses a difference in the rolling radius of a wheel, it will transfer power to a different wheel hence the Jerkiness when accelerating from low revs

Do you mean sport auto? There aren't (as far as I'm aware) any f31s with SMG gearboxes?!

I wonder if that's how the dealers fix knackered gearboxes.
At £800 plus vat...
