Looking to get the borla exhaust for my 435i xdrive. How does the sound/loudness compare to other exhaust options

it's louder than some and more quiet than others.. sound depends on you and other mods.. its all preference at that point. lots of of people love it, some dont.

Have you watched the videos on their website? They have far more comprehensive videos of the different systems they produce than anyone else. Good stuff

I did, I just wish they put on better tips. So I might cut off the silver tips and weld on black ones.

I got the Borla a type on my car it is an amazing sound to me it's paired with a Catless downpipe and bb 3.4 turbo kit. Just to let you know unless they changed it they don't make exhaust for the x drive you have to modify the one for the rwd.

Borla sounds really good in my opinion, but its not on the same level as REMUS, Active Autowerke or AWE

Thats what I did, just buy some tips online that you like and take it to an exhaust shop to replace them.

Remus and awe are louder and have a "euro" tone. The Borla has a deeper tone and is plenty loud with a catless down pipe

Both. As mentioned above, the other brands have more of a Euro sound.

Not saying Borla is bad, its not but not in my top 3

Borla won't fit Xdrive; I suggest AWE.

It does all you got to do is cut off and re-weld the front exhaust hanger a few inches
