340i Replacement Options

finding it hard to replace my 340i w/mppsk kit. Nothing seems to feel as good dare I say?

Recently purchased a range rover sport too as the new car, but can't bring myself to sell the 340i.

Anyone else been torn on what to replace their b58's with?

I've decided to keep my 440i. Only cars I would replace it with are well beyond my budget.

Same. M5 Comp is the only car I'm interested in replacing my F36 440i with.

Seems pointless to get a G<whatever> when its the same engine and uglier.

Been looking at M4’s but the price to change is ridiculous & they don’t sound as good, maybe I’m just so out of touch but I get the feeling I’m getting screwed on the part ex for mine so I’ve passed on the last 2 cars.
Arnold Clarke knocked off 5k on the value of mine because it was modified, modified with a genuine MPPSK fitted by BMW & it was the reason I bought the car in the first place, won’t ever step foot in that place again!

Keeping the F32 440 for the foreseeable as i am in a similar position regarding what to replace it with.

An M4 would be the logical step up but it would need an extra £20k (+ increased annual running costs) to get me into one , for that sort of money (ish) i could be in a modern G series M440 with X drive and two years manufacturers warranty remaining.

So just going to keep modding the coupe for the moment , next on the agenda are possibly Vland tail-lights / 6WB / Bootmod 3.

Cars are getting expensive. Keep what you got.

I kept my 440i as well. Only cars I would replace it with are the m5 or the new m3 xdrive.

Decided I'm keeping my 400i as well. Looked at getting the M440i but buying a new car right now is a pain in the arse. As others have said the only cars I would really want to replace it with are out of my price range.

It will be 4 years old by the end of this year and is currently on 34k miles. To keep it 'fresh' I'm going to have a front splitter, side skirts and spoiler fitted (also want a difuser but can't find one at a reasonable price fitted). Also started looking at a tune and been in touch with DMS. I spoke to my insurance company about the engine mods and they said they won't insure me for it!

Admiral have insured all my mods, including the BM3 remap. There's also Adrian Flux, but people have complained they can be a pain when it comes to making claims with them. But imo, that describes every insurer.

Also an M3 xDrive Touring is on my dream car list, but it's just not within budget. I just hope they sell well so I can pick a used one up eventually.

Same issue for me nothing comes close to my 340i MPPSK and anything that takes my fancy is mad money M550i as I don't see the point in an m car (too fast for normal roads). Did look at a M340i but the cost to change is just mad for a car that's slightly faster than mine and doesn't sound as nice. The 340 stays for the foreseeable future.

I'm with Admiral and they didn't want to know! Insurance companies are weird...

I spoke to Adrian Flux and including mods they actually came back cheaper than my current premium. They're going to call back in 2 weeks and see if I can get the same deal. I have that time to decide if I'm going with DMS or not.
