My f30 335i won’t stay in sport or eco or any other drive mode besides comfort iv done my research and all I can find is to reset the tpms. but I don’t even have the option on my display to do that it’s supposed to be in vehicle status but on my screen it’s not there. it will go into sport then after a few seconds go right back into comfort anyone got any solutions?

There is your answer, tpms status will prevent the car from sport/+. Cruise control may also be affected. Something may be up with your tpms. Can you post a pic of the tpms screen on I drive?

Can you provide more information? Did you code something in the head unit or do something recently for this to happen, or is this completely random?

Check the ⚠️ tab, I believe thats the tpms one. But if your car ever throws low pressure warning you wont be able to go sport modes, will just kick you back to comfort mode.

It just happened out of nowhere I bought it like that without the option and recently changed the tires and it started putting me into comfort so I thought to reset tpms and I then realized I don’t even have the option lmao

This. I think you're looking at the wrong screen as well.

You had the tires changed and now you don’t have the TPMS screen? And you had the screen prior to changing the tires?

If the TPM sensors are damaged, this could be the reason you don’t see anything…plus the sensors will not display anything until the wheels start to rotate. The sensors send data when the wheels are moving.

So after you changed the tires, you started experiencing this issue. Are you receiving a TPMS warning at all? It seems like someone coded the option out entirely if you're saying you bought the car without it ever there. The triangle is NOT the TPMS option, if you click on the triangle it tells you the warnings that the car is giving you, if any.
BMW's have two tire pressure monitoring systems:
1. There are sensors installed into the tires that monitor the pressure and temperature actively. TPMS
2. There is a system that measures the rotation of each wheel, telling you if you have a flat tire.
You either have one or the other, you can't have none. So this is telling me there is a coding issue or software issue.
