Suspension, Brake Replacment Options
I’ve driven my 14’ 335i over two winters now and I think I’m due for a tune up. Looking for some input regarding the following:
1) Brakes are squealing like an animal - I have the Upgraded M brakes. What is the best replacement option? Frankly the pads should last way longer and after checking, the pads still have a lot of life left on them. Could there be other factors at play? 2) Suspension noise - okay, I’ll admit I hit a few hard pot holes. Being in a developing area, there’s construction everywhere and they’re really, unavoidable. Now the issue is that I hear a knocking/clicking type noise, perhaps due to the cold or perhaps due to the shock absorber. What would be the best way for me to diagnose the issue? Things to note: - M-Performance package: not sure if the Adaptive suspension is equipped - Brake pads: slightly larger in size vs standard from what I can tell. Any help is appreciated.

Do you have M Sport or M Performance brakes?
This forum has many threads about brakes squeal and different aftermarket brake pads which helped eliminate it. |
