Strange brake pedal pulsing issues. Please help.
2012 328i rwd
After driving at highway speeds for 30+ minutes, I start to get quite severe brake pedal pulsing. (feels like front and back.. I feel it in the steering wheel and through the drivers seat..) At slower speeds and for the first while at high speeds everything is mostly normal, but it gets worse with time at speed. I've replaced rotors/pads, and a front control arm/thrust arm (that had an obviously failed bushing). Any suggestions? Thank you very much. |

Where would you see stored codes? Not exactly related to this post but I had a CEL come up which was cleared by a mechanic and when I connected my diagnostic reader (foxwell NT510) I was not able to find any stored codes.

Thanks for the details. Are the symptoms present when pressing the brake pedal or all the time (not pressing the pedal)?
How many miles on your vehicle? |

Only when pressing the brake pedal. I'm wondering if it was something like the emergency brake dragging and heating up things after a while... but there's no evidence of the emergency brake dragging. I'm just trying to think of different things. |

Might also be worth to check if your wheels are balanced properly.
I have an issue on my car where 1 of my front wheels is SLIGHTLY out of spec with respect to its wheel balance. So I do get a bit of shaking under braking cause the weight of the car shifts forward under braking, making the off balance a bit more prominent. |

Another thing to check for is a stuck caliper. Either raise the wheels and check if one is more difficult to spin, or measure the rotor temperature after some driving. A dragging caliper can overheat the rotor and cause the pulsations you’re feeling.

The hub surface wasn't 100% clean which then was transmitted to the discs as run out. I had to get them all replaced again |
