Awesome find, thank you. Believe it or not I think this is progress... Getting the full VIN may more accurately allow BMW to push the right update. And the fact they pulled 9041 points perhaps to me not being crazy!

Yes, agreed. Looks like they are getting their act together in terms of software and portals. Over the air Map updates have been flooding in (I got 3 in 2 weeks) and this as well. Good signs.

I entered mine on the updated site, and I get:
"An error has occurred. Please try again later."

If I change the last digit from a 1 to a 2, it comes up as my model of car, but a different VIN needing no updates. Weird.

my '18 only returns the 9032 update.

it updated everything to:

TB-005.013.032
MB-005.010.002
HB-006.007.032

No. Seems like UPD09041 was pulled. All everyone seems to be getting is the older UPD09032, which has been the latest for most of a year.

I just tried again on a whim and 9041 showed up, requires full VIN now. I will try to install when I get home.

I only have UDP05081 for my F32 '15 428i. Installed and don't see much of a difference.

I got mine updated F30 2014 from 003.003 TO 003.855 for all three modules.
The SW document shows only updated connected drive services.
What actually has been updated.

I don't recall exactly where the change log is on the site but I do remember seeing "bluetooth connectivity improvements" and I can confirm it worked for me, not wiping any custom coding in the process. (MY 2015 328 with Pixel 2 XL) I used to have constant issues with bluetooth disconnecting or not connecting at all but it seems solid now....that is until I get a new phone

Is the display supposed to read "Add-on: HB-00062.032 after the UPD9032 update? My MB or TB did not change but I had no HB at all before the update. It's 2016 f34. Just got it last week.

Mine did not fully update too. The pdf release notes on the site says it should change.

Release notes
After installing the software update in the vehicle,
the current software version will be displayed:
▷ Multimedia: TB 001.062.032 &
MB 001.062.040 & HB 001.062.032

My before
Media: MB-001.052.004
Phone: TB-001.052.004

My after
Media: MB-001.052.004
Phone: TB-001.062.032
Add-on: HB-001.062.032

I didn't bother trying again so I dont brick the hardware. The update is supposed to fix playback resume issue from CD/DVD which I never use.

In addition to my display reading Add-on HB, the bmw software lists my 2016 328i GT as a 2015. Tenth digit is G, so it's a 2016. Anyone know what HB stands for?MB and TB obvious.

It was built on the 13th of November, 2015.

It is a USA MY 2016, but not for the rest of the World.
