I would've fucking exploded at the truck driver if he did that to me, As far as your car I know BMW's electronics are very sensitive and it's all tied around the health of the battery. I say just document anything just in case and have the tow truck company repair your bumper since you have proof.

What battery does everyone recomend as a replacement? Is there a better one over the one that comes from the factory?

There are plenty of good options, I'd stick to any bosch or reputable AGM battery

I believe BMW uses "Exide" batteries rebranded for their use, also AGM

My 440i has a touch screen and I think the car play integration's pretty good - but I haven't had another car with car play to compare.

You're not going to match the sound and sheer grunt of the V8 (although an MPPSK will go some way towards closing the gap). The 440i is torquier at the low end thanks to the turbos I expect, and handles way better in the corners (presume you have active suspension).

I seriously looked at the Mustang - it's a great car but I've never regretted buying the 440i

If this is BMW roadside assistance they should cover the cost of damages during transport.

I also suggest to install MPPSK to close the gap with V8, but only another V8 engine will be completely satisfactory.

There are so many other things to like in 440i.

I've had 1 glass chip in the past 5 years. The glass isn't made by BMW, it's made by Pilkington who supplies OE glass to Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Ford, VW and GM among others. What's cheap about your glass compared to other major brands?

What kind of paint job are you looking for? There are different grades of paint jobs on different BMWs.

Not sure what you mean by the electronics being inconsistent. I haven't had any issues.

Well problem is I don't take compliments or criticism to heart - and in that you have no relevancy to me on any level - what you share is - well meaningless to me.

That said here is something for you to chew on....How someone (you) could or would argue that someones given name S Pick cannot be shared publicly because it may offend someone is beyond belief. Again "ghost" look up the roots of your own user name and if you are truly offended by Spick change yours. I for one, like Spick, use my god given name. OP, please share more details. Was wheel alignment off?

Most 19" OEM run flat tires (Bridgestone, Pirelli) will last at least 20K miles with likely replacement between 21K and 25K miles.

I think we should all drop this. It was an honest mistake (by people thinking it was offensive) and OP seems to be the most mature one here. He changed his username with zero fanfare or whining. Issue resolved.

You have to admit that the C5 and C6 have laughably terrible interiors. I've driven more than a few and that's an obvious area where compromises were made. The C7 was a huge upgrade though.

I'm a Chevy SS owner so I'm willing to compromise "luxuries" for a special car. However, the C7 interior is still not befitting a $50k-$100k+ car. The C7 is definitely fine, but it's still a bit below average. Even cars like the GT-R have a nicer interior.
